Summary:

Wellington Shire Council, the Tribunal held that it would not approve developments without a coastal hazard vulnerability assessment even if the development was meritorious in all other regards.

At Issue: If there is a challenge to the Greater Geelong City Council's granting of a planning permit for the construction of two dwellings in Barwon Heads due to climate change concerns of flooding.
