    09/27/2018 Consent Decree Download Consent decree lodged for settlement of claims involving NGL Crude Logistics, LLC. Company Agreed to Resolve Alleged Renewable Fuel Standard Violations with $25 Million Civil Penalty. A company that allegedly violated Renewable Fuel Standard regulations through sales of biodiesel without an accompanying retirement of renewable identification numbers (RINs) agreed to pay a $25 million civil penalty to resolve the claims in a consent decree lodged with the federal district court for the Northern District of Iowa. The defendant must also retire 36 million valid renewable identification numbers (RINs). In July, the court had found that the company could be liable for the acts of a predecessor entity.
