    01/05/2010 Order Download Order issued vacating approval of permit revision. The Department of the Interior Office of Hearings and Appeals concluded that the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement violated the National Environmental Policy Act by not preparing a supplemental environmental impact statement to evaluate changes related to Peabody Energy Corporation's request for permit revisions for surface coal mining operations on Indian lands. The Board vacated the decision to issue a revised permit.
