    05/05/2022 Complaint Download Complaint filed. FOIA Lawsuit Sought Documents from Office of Science and Technology Policy About Event on Countering Climate Change Denial. Energy Policy Advocates filed a FOIA lawsuit against the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) alleging that OSTP improperly denied the organization access to records related to an OSTP “event on countering climate change denial and delay” and a Politico article entitled “How a Google billionaire helped pay for Biden’s science office.” The organization alleged that the requested records “will inform the public of high-profile ethics revelations at OSTP and media coverage thereof, and also the genesis of a tendentious event and campaign out of OSTP” to characterize political opposition as “disinformation.”
